Medical/Neurosurgical Glossary

The dictionary or glossary includes the terms most commonly used by physicians, pharmacists and other practitioners in spine medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine.  It includes those most commonly used in workers' compensation law.  It is not complete and is not perfect.   Some terms are common and others are rare.  Procedure names and other terms change constantly as does medicine in general. 

Hyperlinks have been added to many items so that this glossary can also be used as an index.

I present this list to help the patients, lawyers and insurance administrators interpret the notes that they receive from their doctors.
