Neck, Back and Pain Care for Fremont, Hayward, Union City, Oakland, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Tracy and the entire San Francisco Bay Area
December 19, 2007
TO MY PATIENTS:
After nearly 20 wonderful years in Pleasanton
and Fremont, I have decided it is time to move on. I will close my
practice on January 31, 2008. After a short break, I will return to
teaching and research. It is something I have always wanted to do.
I will miss everyone who has come to me for care. You have all
become very important in my life.
Douglas Abeles, M.D., has agreed to care for my patients. He is
a wonderful, board certified orthopedist, with experience in complex
spine, and a vast knowledge of the Workers’ Compensation system.
His office is located at 21030 Redwood Road, Castro Valley, CA
94546. Please call his staff at 510-538-0430 to arrange an
appointment. He will have your charts.
For the past several months, I talked to many
patients and have already referred most to Dr. Abeles or other
specialists. I will continue working to help everyone find new and
wonderful physicians. If you want to see me again before the office
is closed, please call 510-494-5700 immediately.
You are, of course, free to see any doctor you
choose. Call if you wish. Talk to your primary care doctor. You
should make sure that your insurance will cover visits with Dr.
Abeles. Other excellent local neurosurgeons and orthopedists with
experience in spine include:
