Mission Statement:

We provide outstanding care for neuromusculoskeletal problems in a professional and compassionate manner. We provide superior service to our patients and to our referring sources. We want every person, with whom we interact, to recommend us to their friends, family, and co-workers.

We work especially hard to respect our patients and their needs. We schedule appointments at convenient times. We help with the paperwork, the insurance authorizations, and in setting up tests and scans.

Our Practice:

We are a multi-specialty group of physiatrists, internists, physician's assistants, acupuncturists, and alternative care providers with offices in Fremont, California. We are the regional center of excellence for spine care in Northern California.

Our Philosophy:

We are spine and pain specialists. With patient education, physical therapy, medications, and other non-surgical treatments, we are able to avoid the need for surgery in most cases. If surgery is needed, we use the newest, minimally-invasive techniques. Our patients leave the hospital sooner, return to work faster, and have far less pain. We take Medicare, most PPO plans and most workers' compensation insurance. We are accepting new patients. We will see patients with older injuries and those who have had negative experiences elsewhere.

Our Style:

We do not simply follow trends and are not an "institute." Rather than institutional medicine, we give one-on-one personal care. We avoid major fusions and unproven, experimental procedures. We treat most elderly patients without having to resort to major surgery.

Our Focus:

Our practice is a neurosurgical practice. While orthopedists focus on the bones, we understand that the nerves are far more important. They are the cause of most pain. The nerves require very special care, which is beyond the scope of most orthopedic practices.
